CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

We offer over 23 classes, 7 days per week, with some of Marin County’s favorite yoga teachers. Whether you are a seasoned yogi, or just starting out, we have a class that will work for you!

Fit 45 (Heated)

The 45-minute class is a powerful blend of vinyasa yoga, calisthenics, cardio, core, and meditation used to effectively tap into your breath and strength. You will not need any equipment for this class – just your mat, towel, and a water bottle! All levels encouraged! This class is heated 90 degrees.  Some instructors may use weights, bands or balls for these classes. 

Vinyasa Flow 2/3

Our advanced vinyasa classes place a strong emphasis on linking breath with movement in a steady and rigorous flow. You’ll explore challenging sequences designed to help you access deeper layers of strength and increased mobility. Requiring endurance of both body and mind, these classes are best for intermediate to advanced practitioners looking to explore the depths of the practice with advanced balancing postures, backbends, and inversions.

Mindful Flow

Incorporating elements of both Vinyasa and Hatha yoga this well-rounded flow class will take you to your mindful edge. You can expect to move through various sun salutations, backbends, twists, forward folds, balancing postures, and restorative resting poses to close. Pranayama breathwork, music, meditation, and other grounding techniques will also be woven into the practice. Various levels of Mindful Flow classes are offered at The Studio. 

Iyengar

Iyengar is a very meticulous style of yoga, with utmost attention paid to finding the proper alignment in a pose. To find the proper alignment, you will use a variety of props including blocks, blankets, straps, and bolsters. If you have an injury or chronic condition, Iyengar is a great choice to ensure you get knowledgeable instruction from an extensively trained teacher. Suitable for all levels.

Soulful Flow 2

Infused with grace, this class merges breath, movement, and music into an uplifting yoga practice designed to help you connect more deeply to your soul while simultaneously toning your body. Interwoven with alignment-based vinyasa, meditative flow, and subtle elements of dance, this nourishing practice will help you build strength, improve balance, increase flexibility, and unwind the nervous system. Suitable for intermediate to advanced students.

Power Flow (Heated)

Power up your day and get your heart pumping with a blend of strength, cardio, and yoga. Musical beats will keep you energized as you flow with your breath and tone your body.  You can think of this class as a full-body workout as well as a soulful work-in, with a focus on helping you find your center. 

Strengthen & Stretch

This class is designed for everybody, from the seasoned athlete to the complete beginner, you’ll experience aligned stretching and strengthening from head to toe. As you explore yoga poses and other isometric exercises, you’ll focus on building stability, flexibility, core strength, and postural improvement. Combining a combination of focused alignment and the freedom to play, this class provides overall balance for the mind, body, and spirit.

HeartFlow

This class warmly invites you to strengthen your heart through a vinyasa-based sequence while approaching every breath and movement with kindness, compassion, and love. A practice of the soul, HeartFlow classes place a special emphasis on deep backbends, shoulder openers, hip openers, and releasing of long-held tension and stress. In each class, expect to experience the joys of poetry, philosophy, music, mantras, essential oils, humor, friendship, community, and more. Plenty of variations are offered to support all levels, although prior yoga experience is encouraged.

Yoga Sculpt

Power up your day and get your heart pumping with a blend of strength, cardio, and yoga. Musical beats will keep you energized as you flow with your breath and tone your body. Hand weights will be incorporated throughout the sequence to help build muscle, increase stamina, and refine stability. You can think of this class as a full-body workout as well as a soulful work-in, with a focus on helping you find your center.
