Sally Smith

Sally started teaching yoga in 2015, and immediately fell in love with the community that it offered her. Since then, her yoga practice has taken on many shapes and forms, but a sense of fellowship and communal healing has always remained a steady through-line. Sally’s classes are a mixture of hatha, vinyasa, and restorative yoga with plenty of breath work, hands-on adjustments, and theory interwoven throughout. Sally draws on her studies and passions in ecology, psychology, philosophy and Earth-based spiritualities, and is constantly looking for new ways to freshen up her practice with the Human-Earth relationship in mind.

In Sally’s class you can expect to unfold, unwind, and unravel. Unfold your body with a well-organized and well-rounded posture practice that will leave you feeling both flushed and fluid. Unwind with plenty of longer-held restorative and yin postures to create a sense of spaciousness and to soothe and swaddle your nervous system. Finally, the way we do one thing is the way we do everything. Yoga is an opportunity to consciously unravel our narrative and discover the ways in which our thoughts, beliefs, and actions may be obscuring our true and wild selves.
