giana gambino
Giana found yoga in college as a way to manage stress and move through grief. It wasn’t exactly love at first down dog, but after years of exploring different styles, something clicked. Drawn to the spiritual and philosophical roots of the practice, she eventually enrolled in teacher training, never intending to teach, until one day a teacher at her local studio didn’t show up, and she was asked to step in. It felt surprisingly natural, and she’s been teaching ever since.
Over the past ten years, Giana has taught in South Florida, Chicago, and San Francisco. She leads retreats, workshops, and teacher trainings around the world, and co-hosts The Funny Thing About Yoga, a podcast that dives into the wild, weird, and wonderful world of yoga.
Her classes are lighthearted but grounded, blending Hatha Vinyasa with modern movement principles to bring balance to body and mind. With over 1,000 hours of training and mentorships with teachers like Jason Crandell, Judith Hanson Lasater, and Janet Stone, Giana creates space for students to explore strength, softness, and a deeper connection to self.
