Heather’s movement journey began as a professional figure skater on the East Coast, where she developed a deep appreciation for discipline, alignment, and embodied expression. She has since spent over 20 years practicing and teaching yoga, Pilates, and therapeutic movement. Her classes are strong, heartfelt, and alignment-based—infused with humor, spirituality, and joy. Through creative sequencing and breath-driven movement set to uplifting beats, Heather invites students to feel invigorated, capable, and deeply connected. She creates a safe, playful space where students can explore both the edges and depths of their practice. Heather holds advanced degrees in Kinesiology and Special Education, and works as a physical therapist specializing in therapeutic yoga and recovery. She has worked with professional athletes, the Zen community at Green Gulch, and individuals navigating detox and recovery—bringing a thoughtful, compassionate, and highly skilled approach to every body she teaches.
